Price tag and label maker

Type your items and prices, choose your label sheet, and print price tags with barcodes on a normal printer. Good for kirana, garment, stationery and medical shops.

Items

Leave the barcode empty if you do not need one. 13-digit numbers print as EAN-13, others as CODE128.

In the print window set paper to A4, margins to None and scale to 100%. Print one test sheet on plain paper and hold it over your label sheet to check alignment.

How to use the Price tag and label maker

  1. Add your items with name, selling price, MRP (optional) and barcode or item code (optional).
  2. Set how many copies of each label you need, or let it fill the sheet.
  3. Choose your A4 label sheet: 21, 24, 40 or 65 labels per sheet. Add your shop name if you want it on every label.
  4. Press Print labels. In the print window choose A4, margins None and scale 100%.
  5. Print one test on plain paper, hold it over a label sheet against the light to check alignment, then print on labels.

Which label sheets work?

Standard A4 sticker sheets sold at stationery shops: 21 labels (63.5 × 38.1 mm), 24 labels (70 × 37 mm), 40 labels (52.5 × 29.7 mm) and 65 labels (38.1 × 21.2 mm). Check the size printed on your packet. You can also print on plain paper with cut lines and stick the tags with tape.

MRP and selling price

If the MRP is higher than your price, it is shown struck through next to your price, so customers see the discount. Packaged goods must carry the MRP printed by the manufacturer; your shelf label does not replace it.

Questions people ask

Can I scan these barcodes at billing?

Yes. Use the same code for the item in your billing software. 13-digit EAN numbers are printed as EAN-13; any other code is printed as CODE128, which all common scanners read. On the smallest 65-up labels keep codes short.

How many items can I add?

Up to 30 different items, each with as many copies as you need. Labels run over several sheets if needed.

The print is shifted. What should I do?

In the print dialog set margins to None (or Minimum) and scale to 100% or Actual size, not “Fit to page”. Small shifts of 1–2 mm are normal between printers; do a test print on plain paper first.

Does it work with a thermal label printer?

This tool prints A4 sheets. Roll-label thermal printers usually come with their own label software, or you can use the barcode generator to download single barcodes.

Are my items saved?

Your items are kept in this browser on this device so you can print again later. They are not sent to our server.
