UPI QR code generator

Turn your UPI ID into a QR code that works with Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM and every other UPI app, and print a neat “Scan & pay” card for your counter.

Before printing, scan the QR with your own UPI app and check that your name and UPI ID appear correctly. Do not complete a payment to yourself.

Runs in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to us or stored on our server.

How to use the UPI QR code generator

  1. Enter your UPI ID (like shopname@okaxis). Find it in your UPI app under your profile or bank account.
  2. Enter the name customers should see. Add an amount only if every payment through this QR should be the same, for example a fixed fee.
  3. Check the card preview and change the colour or the name printed on it if you like.
  4. Scan the QR with your own UPI app to confirm your name and UPI ID show up, then cancel without paying.
  5. Download the card as PNG, or print it and stick it on your counter.

Fixed amount or open amount?

If you leave the amount empty, the customer types the amount after scanning, so one QR works for every bill. If you enter an amount, it is fixed in the QR code and customers cannot change it. That suits a fixed fee or a single bill you are sending on WhatsApp, not a counter display.

Is this the same as the QR code my bank gives me?

It uses the same standard upi://pay link, so any UPI app can pay it and the money goes straight to the bank account linked to your UPI ID. A merchant QR from your bank or payment app may also give you sound-box alerts, settlement reports and a verified merchant badge; this tool does not. Payments always go directly to you; we never touch the money.

Questions people ask

Which apps can scan this UPI QR code?

Any UPI app: Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Amazon Pay, WhatsApp Pay and bank apps. They all read the same upi://pay format.

Where do I find my UPI ID?

Open your UPI app and look in your profile or under the linked bank account. It looks like name@bankname, for example 9876543210@ybl or shopname@okaxis.

Why does the payer see a warning or a limit?

Some apps show a caution for payments to personal (non-merchant) UPI IDs, and banks set their own daily limits. These come from the app or bank, not from the QR code. For a business, a merchant UPI ID from your bank or payment app avoids most of these warnings.

Can I change the amount later?

The amount is part of the QR code. To change it, make a new QR code. For counter use, leave the amount empty.

Is my UPI ID stored by this website?

No. The QR code and card are made in your browser and nothing is sent to our server.
