Each sheet has two example rows: replace them with your own data. The item list and party list use the columns that billing apps like Vyapar ask for when you import items and parties, so you can map them in one go. Check the correct HSN code and GST rate for your products.

How to use the Excel templates for billing
- Pick the template you need and tap Download .xlsx, or download all of them in one workbook.
- Open the file in Excel, Google Sheets or WPS Office.
- Replace the two example rows with your own data, keeping the column headings.
- Import the item or party list into your billing app, or keep using the registers in Excel.
Moving to billing software
Most billing apps, including Vyapar, let you import items and parties from Excel instead of typing them one by one. Keeping one clean item list with HSN codes, GST rates and opening stock – and one party list with GSTINs and states – makes the switch take minutes instead of days.
Tips for clean data
Keep one item per row and do not merge cells. Use the same unit name every time (PCS, KG, BOX). Enter GST as a number like 5 or 18 without the % sign, and check that each GSTIN's first two digits match the party's state code.
Questions people ask
Will these templates import into Vyapar?
The item and party lists use the fields Vyapar and similar apps ask for when importing. During import you match each column to the app's field; if the app offers its own sample file, compare the headings and rename or move columns if needed.
Do the templates have formulas?
The stock register works out closing stock (opening + in − out), and the sales register adds up the invoice total. The item and party lists are plain data.
Can I use them in Google Sheets?
Yes. Upload the .xlsx file to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets, or use File > Import in Sheets.
Are the files made on your server?
No. The Excel file is created in your browser and downloaded directly; nothing is sent to us.
